Pretty much everyone's moved into Allen Hall. School started yesterday. I was also sicker than a dog for the last few days. The eye decided to go evil on me and is very swollen. My cold is on it's way out too.

Angie, my RA, decided to check out my page:O I'll update it soon. I'm going to start scanning pictures when I hold lab hours for my job. I'll also bring the DaveCam back online soon. If I get a lot of spare time I'll make it do cool tricks.

By the way, if anybody has Moby's Play CD, lemme know.

In the last few days I pretended to dance, my roommate, Brendon, moved in and I started working on people's computers. It's been quite busy. Sometimes busier than I'd like.

Yesterday was the Illini Union Late-Nighter. I was thinking of not going, because I was tired after work. Then I kicked this freshman named Kathy out of the computer lab, because I thought she should be at the Late-Nighter. Since she was alone, I offered to go with her. The event was a blast. Spicy Clamato was there and so was a Hypnotist and so was a lot of other stuff.

Today looks like the day I try to get things in order... right... I figure, since the Freshman are at convocation, I won't have to do anything until later tonight.

Today was the final day of training. The night went well. Several of my friends and I joined the Freshman in the orientation stuff. We had fun doing that. Then afterwards we ended up having a party in the hall outside my room. There'll be some pretty wild pictures of me as soon as Caroline or I develop our respective rolls of film. Unfortunately I am exhausted after pseudo-dancing for quite some time and then going shopping at Meijer's. (Note that the time is based on EST, even though I'm in CST.)

I just set up my swivel chair and got a ride through the fourth floor courtesy of Ellen and Stephanie.

The room is slowly being cleaned to goodness. I still need to buy a few more things for it.

It's Molly's Birthday tomorrow (Thursday the 19th). So wish her a happy.

I moved into Allen Hall a few hours ago. I love it alraedy. It'll take a few days to straighten things around here, but it will be fun once things get rolling. I begin work tomorrow and school in a week.

The login for this doesn't work too hot with IE 4.0. I only notice this, since I use the login interface, and my brother's computer has IE 4.0. I'll try to fix it, but there isn't much on that web site that requires logging in... so don't worry. (:

Hey everybody, second day of being on the road. Yesterday we stayed in a Hilton in Sioux City, IA. I had trouble getting online there. I went to a few hospitals with my brother and went to a luncheon. (For those of you who don't know, my brother is a sales rep. for a pharmecutical company.)

After that we made way to Davenport. We checked into a Radisson hotel. It's very nice with a view of the river. MSN works well in this town too so I checked my mail and read that Allen Hall has updated it's routers to 10/100 base T system (i.e. fast internet).

I should be at Allen Hall soon. For those of you at home, I miss you guys. For those of you coming back to school, I'm looking forward to see you guys.

Batman Beyond has got to be the coolest cartoon I've ever seen. I've always been a fan of Batman. I liked the original TV show the original movie (but not the sequels) and the cartoon was amazing. Batman Beyond propels that feeling of amazement.

Batman Beyond takes place in the future. Batman is some kid that Bruce Wayne found who kicks a lot of ass. This new Batman improves on the old one with a few things. Namely techno. They have a lot of Quake II (Sonic Mayhem)/Chemical Brothers sounding techno (I can swear that some of them are songs that have been muddled up slightly).

It also features cool weaponry, fighting and villians. The villians aren't all generic and stupid like some of them in the Batman series. The intro is very cool and dramatic. My main problem with the show is the soap-opera sounding commercial transitions... oh well.

For those who like to keep close tabs on my whereabouts I will be leaving for U of I on Sunday at the earliest. I will move into my dorm on Tuesday.
